What happened to all the threads between "today" and November 6?

All those posts evaporated when the forum was updated this second time.

I think we were told that was going to happen. Too bad, I used some of my best material during those missing 11 days.

Coincidentally, when Britain (and its colonies) finally adopted the Gregorian Calendar in 1752 it was necessary to skip from September 2 to September 14 to get caught up.

Rioters in the street cried out: "Give back our 11 days!".

Fortunately, we are so happy to have the Forum return that riots are out of the question.

The not-so-funny part: at the time, many workers looked at the calendar change and thought "we've lost 11 days of wages!"

Ha! Me too!

And I'm probably further away from whatever is past Yoda too!

I uploaded a few pics last week and have not been able to get on since... I thought the system was down or being updated -but I happened to try it on my HP touch pad, and, obviously, I'm in and it's working. However, my portable still goes to invalid links and can't find the new or old forum? Same house, same internet access -what gives?
