Reputable MG Service in Atlanta GA

Looking for a service garage for my 1980 MGB LE in the Atlanta area. As I am sure you all know, most shops have said "no more" when it comes to 31+ year old British Cars. There is one shop, which will reamin nameless, in Buckhead that does MG repairs, but the one time I used them they put a fresh 3 inch long scratch on my otherwise flawless hood and refused to do anything about it.

We all baby them while they run and this one has been mine for 10 years. I bought it with 21,000 origional miles and it now has 22,600 miles on it. It was from a Priest in AZ, still had the tag "Fthr Jhn" on it.

I need to get the alternator replace, adjust the carbs and find someone that could charge the dealer installed AC.

Any suggestion in Atlanta would be a great help.

Thanks,
mgbltd

Welcome! You can try Barry Rosenberg. I used to work for him at British Car Service When I lived in the Atlanta Area. He is now a one man operation at the north end of Marietta. I will PM his cell number. Bob

I would appreciate his number and location if you have it. Thanks, Blake McCoach.

Good luck Blake - please note however that the thread is 13 years old and TR8todd hasn't been seen since 2017. cheers

Barry has retired, but Ric Cline in Shady Dale and Neil Estes at Neil's Restorations in Decatur still have British car shops. Scott Bohannon at Chequereed Flag in Roswell is not British only but knows MGs and actually races an MGB.
