The other day I was rereading a "news" article for the third time trying to figure out the 'who-what-where-when' supposedly contained in it. I realized that (i) I had been having this issue with increasing (yet still small) numbers of articles for some time and (ii) that the name in the byline was a pseudonym for some AI agent. Full confirmation of my conclusion came today. An article on the Reiner son whining about not getting his trust distributions to pay for his defense against killing his parents contained a photo of the family at some Hollywood event. The photo caption was "A group of formally dressed individuals are standing together on a red carpet, likely at an event or premiere. The individuals are posing for a photograph, with a white wall adorned with logos in the background".

Just learned yesterday that my friends son recently lost his writing job. He was replaced by AI.
 
Bob and Elliot - what you're experiencing is really really rotten. What are corporations really "saving", by eliminating people and replacing them with "info gathered from the Cloud". Just money?

It's been going on for awhile. I can't stand a lot of what I read in the "news."
 
And I can't count the number of times I've clicked on a YouTube video, only to discover that the narrator is AI. At first it sounds like a real person, but then there is always some name or word that is grossly mispronounced and that's what I stop listening and usually leave a comment to the effect of "Your AI narration stinks on ice!"

And by the way, AI is wrong a lot!

I saw this photo on Facebook. As you can see it's a TR4, 4A, 250, or 5 with a GT6 mk2, or plus roof and hatch blended nicely. I asked AI for more information. It replied it was a photo of a Datsun 310GX. I replied it wasn't and explained what I described it was...AI agreed saying I was correct and thanked me.

I once asked AI what kind of car the girl washed in the famous Cool Hand Luke movie scene. It came back and said it was a 1957 Ford Fairlane.
I told it it was wrong and it came out with two more wrong answers before finally getting it right (1941 DeSoto). How on earth could you mistake a 1947 DeSoto for a 1957 Fairline? They don't look remotely alike.
 
but it's on the Internet! It must be true!

(Seriously, we're car guys and recognize the AI car errors. Do young people question AI results? or just assume they're true ...)

Two days ago I restored an old photo of my roommate in college. He was standing next to his Pontiac Firebird.
After AI restored it the NY license plate was changed to Michigan and the Pontiac emblem on the trunk was changed to Ford!
After a couple of edits AI got it right or I should say I made the corrections!

Well, it seems AI can't spell "Ford"...
