TR6 Seatbelt headrest guide

I just installed new seatbelts in my '73 TR6. I'm not happy with how they extend/retract due to the friction of the belt moving across the top of the seat.
Has anyone installed the seatbelt guide that attaches to the headrest stalk like the pics below?
Do they work?

I have also been curious…. There are also more expensive versions CNC machined from aluminum….

I have seen those as well. Not sure they are an improvement though.
Right now I would just like to know if the guides work to reduce the seatbelt dragging.

I had these in my Spit, but one broke so I replaced with the metal ones someone posted below. They work fine and look better than the plastic.
