A cool project….

I used to use an old Airstream trailer as my office. It came with the typical RV air conditioner that was so loud I couldn't hear the phone, and no heat. I installed a mini split heat/cool system with the outside unit on the trailer tongue (I used Austin Healey anti-sway bar bushings for noise insulation). It is so quiet I can barely hear it.

I am curious how it performs once summer really kicks in for you in central PA. If the heat pump handled winter fine, cooling should be the easy part by comparison.

I ran it over the weekend when the temps and humidity were high and it cooled my work area just fine.

It was actually pretty straightforward. Basic electrical and carpentry skills. I was lucky that I knew someone who had a vacuum pump which you need to remove moisture from the lines.
