MGB End of an era, the MGB has sold

After 15 years, selling and buying back, countless drives, learning and wrenching, my RHD MGB has now moved on to new owners. It was time, I've had good fun with the car but want to try some new things. The car is off to a new home, but still local here in Utah. The new owner was very excited, and I hope the car serves her well.

A few memories:

As I get older I find myself getting less precious about holding on to things just because I’ve had them a long time. Spending time in the hospital recently gave me even more perspective. I’ve got great memories with this car, and now it’s time for something different.
 
I have had my B for over 48 1/2 years. Not parting with it soon.

Well done!

I seem to like the variety. I once explained it to a friend by saying that it was never my goal in life to own only one car. Good thing given my history. :D

That said, I have had my Morris Minor for 11 years and it is my only keeper. Maggie’s not worried about being sold.
 
I have others to fill in some time with…e type, TVR and some others.

I just noticed this post.
Sooooo......what are you going to buy to replace it with?
 
I already have the replacement, I bought a ’61 TR3A last fall that I’m still working to get sorted and back on the road. That’s enough for now with the Morris and the Land Cruiser. For the future who knows, but for now I’ve got all I can manage.

I very much can have too many cars. Right now the number I have feels manageable. Perspectives change.

I’ve tried many cars, but usually not all at the same time. :crazyeyes:
