I have the knurled nut removed and the outer cable sheath but the inner cable(wire) seems stuck when I try to withdraw it? Has anyone run across this issue? Also I removed the bolt above the knurled nut ....not sure of its purpose. Karl
The bolt holds the speedometer drive in place. If you remove it you can draw the drive out and take a closer look in a more convenient place than leaning in through a door opening. The inner cable may just require a tug to loosen it up.
