I've seen numerous videos on the benefits of dry ice cleaning but has anyone here ever used it? Particularly on the underside of the car, specifically around oil pan and starter area.

I think we have enough CO2 in the atmosphere as it is.
Also, what material is there to clean off?

Good old fashioned years old dirt/grease. Surface rust on rear suspension...The top of the engine is decent, but the bottom, not so much.

I wouldn't use anything but a pressure washer with the least aggressive tip, 0° I think.

Maybe the pressure washer for the pan, but I have seen very good results on surface rust on suspension parts. We'll see...

Under the hood, I use Gunk Foamy spray and light water pressure to rinse. On my tractors, I get a little more aggressive!

Since today is a reasonably tolerable weather day, I may just fire up the pressure washer for the underside. The engine compartment is ok, not museum, but ok.
