When I think of Keaton, my first thought was Annie Hall.
Now, every mention of her career is Godfather and Father of the Bride.
Two, unremarkable film franchises in my opinion.
Both series had many first rate actors in second rate characters.
Godfather was a terrific film that should never have had a sequel.

My Diane Keaton story is around a bottle of wine: When living in Pittsburgh, I bought a bottle of wine at the Monroeville Liquor Store (all stores in PA are state-run). My wife and both I liked it - enough that she gave me instructions (permission) to buy a case (and get the associated discount). The clerk explained he only had two bottles left. Keaton, in town for a movie (not sure which) had bought the last case earlier that day.

I raise a glass of red wine to Ms. Keaton. RIP!

Mike - you might be remembering Keaton in 1984's "Mrs. Soffel".

Several scenes were filmed in the Pittsburgh area.
