Which one of you used my credit card?

I woke up yesterday to two alerts that my credit card was used twice at a major department store.
Both charges were made at 4:28AM.
The first charge went through, the second one was denied by my credit card company.
I know they will also credit me for the first charge.
A new card was sent electronically to my phone before I got off the phone with the credit card agent.
New physical card coming in the mail.

darn - and I was liking my new shoes ...

I was travelling with my friend Roy and we were in the lobby of our hotel. Out of nowhere a feral kitty ran in, attacked his footwear, and ran out. The next morning as we were checking out, that kitty was sitting outside on the sidewalk. I said "Pardon me Roy, is that the cat that chewed your new shoes?"
