After having a heart bye pass Seven weeks ago I got the all clear to travel from the consultant just six days before our flight to the Philippines to stay with the wife's family.
32 hours doorstep to doorstep. We are here now. What a fantastic place to recover from surgery. I'm not allowed to lift a finger.
Daughter and niece joint 18th birthday party today. Coming of age here and in the uk. Big pool party coming up later today.
Just hope we bought enough water pistols and footballs for the kids 😂😂
 
Had battered dory and chips for dinner yesterday. Nemo is not gonna find her now.

Family, sunshine, the beach and a good meal… the best medicine.
 
The party went great. Got to the resort just after lunch. But numb nuts here went in the pool with his phone in his pocket.
Cost me a new screen today to put it right 🤬
But to be fair the Philippine have got this right. Top floor of the mall is nothing but phone shops. And they will repair your phone while you go and have coffee 👍
