Finally time for a starter...
Has anyone out there tried the 'Gear Reduction Wosp' starter all over eBay???

I have used the powerlite version for years - very happy.
I believe the wosp version may be better quality

I changed the position of the mounting plate with the fixed bolt 180deg to make fitting easier.
You can, if you want, retain the old solenoid especially useful if you have the button on the back.

I got mine at britishstarters.com and have been very happy with it in my 59 TR3 for several years.

If you’re a VTR member you may also get one discounted
via ORielly auto parts. They will likely have to special order it so come in with the specs and or part/model number.
