Something doesn't add up. Did they really go to "space" or just a high altitude parabolic flight to achieve a few moments of weightlessness? Just saying.

Guess it depends on how they define "space"!

Probably just to the Kármán line, the generally recognized point where "space" begins. I think the whole event took about ten minutes.

My guess is fifty miles. They kissed space and then came back down.

Whie true it compares more with the early 60s sub orbital launches, back then it was all new and the tech pales in comparison to what can be done today. And it was known to be just the first step towards actual orbits. Who knows where this type tourism will go or just stay as it is.
 
Must say I am enjoying the controversy more than I ought. (On that note maybe I'll have lunch at Wendy's) :LOL:
