Folks,

What type of grease or anti seize material do you us on the splines of wire wheels and hubs?

Ron - when I had my B, I used general purpose grease. There's no constant friction on the splines, so the grease just makes wheel removal smoother.

I use a little bit of anti seize compound, as it seems to work well and doesn't center fuge out and mess up the spokes.

Lots of Grease….. You want to keep water and grit out of there. Corrosion is the greatest threat for wire wheels.
 
I use silver anti seize. If it leakes past the spokes at least it is silver.

I drive exclusively in dry, clean conditions and have the wheels off at least twice a year.
