Chimaera 4 litre mesh radiator grille stuck

I have a 1996 Chimaera 4 litre with the mesh radiator grille. I have to change a headlamp bulb for the first time ever and the grille is stuck in place and won't budge. Number plate is off and there are no other screws.

Suggestions please. Thanks in advance.

I believe it is glued in place.

Check for the access panel inside the wheel well.

And be sure to use an posi drive screw driver meant for electrical service, as pictured.

That was what I thought, despite the manual I have got saying "remove the retaining screws".

Good point, (shame about the carpet lining in the boot ... but, hey, it's showing its age.)
