Carnage in New Orleans

It's early days, but I'm betting the driver, an Army Vet, had some major emotional problems and "social connections" which were never addressed.

Hard to say. Did read on a couple different sources that FBI says they found an ISIS flag in or on his truck.

Getting more interesting by the minute.

From several credible sources, including the US Army, the man who died inside that Cybertruck that exploded and burned in Las Vegas, and the man who plowed a rented van into a New Orleans crowd, had both been US Army and stationed at Fort Hood.

Could be just coincidence of course.

Yes, I heard that also. You’re right, it could be a coincidence or something else. Hopefully we will find out.

Unfortunately most barriers seem to be aimed at keeping those who make a mistake out, like those moveable fence types you see so often where you say oops, "shouldn't have turned here and then backup up and go elsewhere". Not to keep those determined to break through out. And here, their primary was broken and under repair so I gather a patrol car was parked across the street but the sidewalks were open, which is where he apparently went. I don't know that we can, or want, big tough barriers everywhere to keep everyone where you want them always, only let in or out by those in charge. We tend to expect with many events that the people generally obey without causing problems, think of all the public events that occur with nothing happening to disrupt them.
