SF used to be a cool & interesting place to visit.
I don't think that Hippies could afford to live there now.
 
I have a (hippie) niece who lives in SF with her boyfriend. From what I understand, it takes a trust fund and 2 sizable incomes working for a tech giant to be able to afford their apartment. With no cars, no kids, no pets, and no expensive habits.
 
What is this thing called "trust fund"?
