"One time the police stopped me for speeding. The cop said, 'don't you know the speed limit here is 55 miles per hour?'"
"I said, yeah, I know, but I wasn't going to be out that long." - Steven Wright

I was doing a 24 hour endurance rally, and about 12 hours into it, I was stopped for speeding (in my MGB), The officer asked why I was going 102 (It was not a stock engine). I gave the wrong reply, I said it was because the car wouldn't go any faster.

Last time I got pulled over for speeding, I was doing 135 MPH, but the officer last clocked me at 80 MPH because I slowed down to cross a bridge. At that speed, I had to appear before the judge.

I always wanted to say "I was low on gas,& wanted to get to the
gas station before I ran out"

My aunt's neighbour was driving home and got pulled over for speeding. (she was in in her late 70's, early 80's.) she told the officer she had to pee (she did) So he followed her home, let her pee and then gave her the ticket. :D
