Does Moss have a technical support?

I've collected and restored cars for most of my life, but I'm new to British cars. I have a lot knowledge but I don't know it all that's for sure, so when I run into a problem I'm not too stubborn to reach for help!
I just bought 69 TR6 and the previous owner gave me a new in the box oil filter adapter from Moss Motors. I was having trouble getting it to seal properly. The instructions were pretty vague, so I figured I'd call Moss for some technical support. I ended up talking to a sales rep. but he wasn't much help. He told me that their tech support works by going to their website and chatting there. There was no one available for chat so I opened a "ticket" requesting assistance. I got an email confirmation, but 5 days later nothing? Anyone have an issues with them?

Post this question in the Triumph forum, it will probably get more traction. I'm sure many members have used this adapter and you'll likely get a faster response here. :smile:
 
If it is similar to the adaptors they sell for the MG engines , there is a large O-ring that goes between the engine and adaptor where the original filter attached. If an old one is still stuck in there it could cause leaking, and of course if its missing you may have quite a fountain of oil.

I have had success getting help from Moss, but it is not a fast process. I was able to at one point actually talk to someone and they were very helpful, but it took some steps to get to that point.
