Severals ago we had a "bloom" .There were millions of them, Dog liked them a LOT. So we finally
cooked up a few on the grill just for laughs. Very little flavor at all,like oatmeal with no salt..

That reminder me of a dog we had years ago. She liked them too but didn't eat them, at least not right away. She carried them around in her mouth. You could tell when she had one because she buzzed. SWMBO about freaked the first time she heard it and couldn't figure out how the dog made that noise.
