well, not from Winnetka!

Around 50% of southern New England is without electricity this morning, after the 60+ mph winds and heavy rains last night. Sure glad I have an emergency generator.

Doesn't saying "emergency generator" infer that there is a "regular generator"? :D And why do we never hear about good accidents, only hear about bad ones?? 🤪
 
We finally got snow this year.It was enough to cover the cars & trucks,
but the roads are just wet.I leave for work about 5:30 AM,so we'll see what
tomorrow brings.

It was impressive today! Slow drive to the office this morning through huge puddles on the MA turnpike, trying hard to keep the car in my lane as the wind howled - up to 60 mph gusts. We have power, and consider ourselves incredibly lucky!
