TR2/3/3A Unknown part panel

I have 2 or 3 sets of these gray panels that came with the car; except I have no idea what or where they go?

I have not seen that part on a TR2/3.

I'd have to see more angles...it could be a patch panel.

Trunk floor ext is a right or left ,behind wheel arch. Needed one a little while back,
but fabed one up due to ease/flatness.
