Jimmy Carter

Indeed. a remarkable man. I have a couple of his books he autographed at his library in Atlanta.

Great man. What he accomplished post-presidency was nothing short of remarkable. I wish him and Rosalynn well. Fun fact: they have the longest marriage of any US President!

Politics aside, I have always been an admirer and supporter of his work with Habitat for Humanity.

Don't know if any of you noticed that the Carter's celebrated their 77th wedding anniversary. Married in 1946 and the longest marriage of any president. Amazing that he went into hospice care in February - that doesn't usually last that long, but, over 3/4 of a century married - astonishing!

He accomplished remarkable things long before he was president as well.

Rosalynn Carter - RIP at 96. Went into hospice care on Friday. According to the accounts she died at home. Doesn't get much better than that.
