Why do people advertise a vehicle for sale and will not respond when called? Interested in this Morris which looks like it's in pretty good shape, I'll give it another try. :unsure:

Guessing it could be a scam. The seller probably knows nothing about the car…. “Just send $”
 
Paul - you might also want to consider the 1960 MM in Helena OK. Definitely better condition!

In my experience, posting on Craigslist results in a huge number of replies. 90% spam, 10% serious inquiries.

Sometimes I’ll overlook a legit inquiry - perhaps same with this seller.

Other times the listing is real, but the desire to sell not. “Yes honey, I’ve advertised it for sale. I won’t have it too much longer…”. For the past four years I have been driving past a beautiful 1985 Corvette with a “for sale” sign. Funny how it never sells!

Can't speak to that particular Minor, but a 4-door Minor is a rare car in the US. Worth trying to track down, I sure love mine.

I agree! But this car is loved: beautiful condition, washed, waxed, and polished. The fact that it has a permanent for sale sign while clearly being well maintained, suggests an ulterior motive!
 
Not really a Vette guy but, gorgeous! That generation of vette seems to still be a true bargain in the car (and Corvette) world. I would certainly have one for touring.
 
We have a winnah! Curtis Lemay, first head of the Strategic Air Command! He's shown with his own Corvette, which he maintained himself.
