Nothing beats cruising the countryside at sunrise in a British Roadster. These photos were taken recently here in the Texas Hill Country.

Doc -

My aunt and uncle lived in Comfort way back when. Will always remember visiting them as a kid in the late 50's/early 60's. To get to their house the road went over a low-water bridge through Cypress Creek, where we'd stop and wade just before arriving. Uncle Nelson was a civil engineer and had a plane he kept on the property above their house. Great memories!

This road in these photos are backroads going to Comfort from Kerrville. We go over that same low-water bridge! It is my favorite part of this area.

and a lovely lass by your side makes it even nicer

The only thing I can think of better would be doing the same ride at sunset when I am actually awake! If I am seeing the sunrise that means I either stayed up a little too long or something has gone fundamentally wrong in my life...
Here is a sunset shot for ya! There are more on another post if you click on this: Evening drive
