New Moss Motors Fuel Tank

Hello members,
I have an early longbridge 100-6 BN4.
My existing fuel tank is toast so I purchased a replacement from Moss Motors.
I didn’t realize that the fuel pickup fittings are different, horizontal vs vertical, I’m hoping that someone here can advise me of a safe and efficient method of connecting my old line to the new tank?

I was faced with the same issue on my previous car. I just drilled a new hole through the bulkhead and bent the fuel line to fit.

I have solved the fuel line routing issue.
Purchase two straight British Standard line fittings from Inan at Healey Surgeons and find about 5 feet of 5/16” copper tubing. Drill a hole in line with the tank outlet through the bulkhead of adequate size to pass the fitting nut through and find a proper sized grommet th fill the gap around the copper line and prevent chafing.
The straight fittings will need to be soldered to the line but is easily done with a small propane torch.
problem solved.
I did have a small challenge finding the 5/16” tubing locally without buying an entire roll but found 5’ on Amazon.
make sure to route the line near the pump to allow proper clearance for the differential to move upwards without contacting the line.

I think it will be a good idea to wait until the Axle is installed as I can better establish the whole routing.
I will also be considering a new Fuel pump. The car is on a rotisserie at this point.
