I have acquired a 100/6 - 3000 door with some serious dents in the skin in places that I cannot get to from inside the door. I am going to remove the skin. Does anyone that has done this before have any tips on tools or methods specific to these Healey doors?

There are door skin removal tools that work great.
I used my air hammer with the skinning tool.
The trick is getting started without wrecking the outside.

If you are removing the skin to replace with a new one, just run around the edge with a grinder, this will allow removal of the fold around and the skin comes off without damaging the inner frame,, I have done hundreds..
if you are looking to remove with the intension of refitting then that will require the inner fold peeling up,, not easy

My plan was to remove and then reinstall the same skin. Given the difficulty and the time involved in re-skinning the door I have gone to plan "B". Using a variety of tools as well as removing the horizontal brace inside the door, I am gradually massaging things out.

Try a bit of heat on the dents,
dents create stretch in the metal, if heated they will shrink, lift the dent in the middle and tap lightly around the dent,

Have you contacted a local PDR Paintless Dent Removal professional? He maybe able to get to all the areas.
