I figured that some cloud photos would be a good way to play with my camera's light meter, which I just learned about a couple of days ago. It makes getting a decent exposure so much easier. I also learned that the photos have the information for each photo saved. Here I just thought Doc kept meticulous notes for all of his photos. All of these were taken with my 18~140mm lens.

Well, I do! I just don't have to write 'em down or remember 'em now! ;)

I like the "drama" in that first shot. And at 1/15 sec, you got lightning in the last one. Nice.
 
Have you explored the 3 modes of the meter? Spot, center weighted and matrix?

I've been playing with it a bit. The very first photo I posted was using the centered matrix pointed at the cloud.
