These places are on my bucket list. Only about 3 hours from home but have never been.

Looks interesting. You need to go. A regret of mine is not ever setting foot in Old Economy Village, despite the fact it was no more than a few miles from where I lived most of my first thirty years. Did make numerous trips to Williamsburg and other historical sites while living in VA though.

When my oldest was about 13 we took a cross country trip from Scott AFB (IL) to DC. Williamsburg was one of our stops. Cool place!

Not to worry. Heck last year I drove 11 hours with a camper trailer to shoot the Milky Way out in the middle of nowhere in Utah. Wife is sure I’m nuts (she’s probably right). I will likely head up there to the badlands later this summer.
