Now that Nisonger is no longer rebuilding gauges, who is now offering a quality rebuilding service? I have a speedo and tach that need help. Thanks!

I don't know for sure, but John Wolfe in Ohio may take your gages:

I used him for my Stearman gages, and he did a very nice job.

West Valley and Mo-Ma seem to be the “go-to” places.

I used west valley, but have not yet installed the finished product. Note, you should let them know what you want; sparkling new (repainted, etc.) or mechanically refurbished. I believe they
can do the full spectrum. (I opted for mechanical refurbish, and asked them not to reset the mileage to zero.)

+1 for Mo-Ma. I haven't personally used them but I've spoken with them and have friends & relatives who have had good experiences with them.

West Valley Instruments has supplied a new Smiths electric clock for installation where the ammeter had been in my 1961 TR4 after fitting it with domed glass, a full-vee bezel, and a remote time-setting button that is hidden in the cubby box so that the clock matches the other three secondary instruments cosmetically. Their work was excellent and their price was fair.

+1 for Mo-Ma. They did all the instruments on my TR3. Contact Joey Lobo.

I have a small shop that handles a specialty in gauge repair. I have been in the gauge repairing and restoring business for 23 years now. I decided to start my own business repairing just mechanical temperature gauges. If there is any interest in that you can contact me. BC Instruments LLC. capaldib@sbcglobal.net
