We were not scared of our own shadow. We were told to shake it off, not hugged and given something to make it better. We survived by doing once and warning others. If we did it twice, shame in us, our own fault. Somebody wants to borrow a car, I give them a manual.

352-1669 -- the only number in my contacts that I can still dial from memory. Pity it isn't even my parents' number anymore.

The number was typed on a paper disc in the middle of the dial, but the upstairs hall phone was old enough to have something like "ELliott 2-1669" (no area code) and I remember feeling weird using the phone that the Elliott family had apparently left behind.

And yes, 2 payments on the new tractor, 2 times clicking "Forgot Password" to make the payment.

Passwords? I keep a well obscured .doc file for those. But the ones I use a lot are somehow still in my head.
