TR4/4A In search of a 1962 TR4

In 1966, I purchased a 1962 TR4, serial number CT 1460 L. I owned the car for approximately four years. I sold it and was informed that this person crashed the car and said it was not repairable so I never followed up to see if the car still is registered and operating. I still have the crank that I used to start it when the starter went bad.

I was wondering, is there a registry to search the serial number to see if this car is currently owned and operable?

Thank you.

Not sure if the VTR (Vintage Triumph Registry) would have that,
but they might.
