Hey Guest!
Me either but Fleetwood Mac was formed in 1967 (she was 24) Most of what we know of the band was in the '70's. Rumors came out the year I was 16 and it was a very good summer. What a great album, a quick search says the 8th best selling album of all time. I remember reading a book about the band and how every other album they had done sold in the 400,000 range and then that - and as all the marriages were ending.
I think she was the best part of the band.
Style over substance. Most folks seem to think Stevie was the "pick of the litter". I found McVie more interesting.

I would argue more talented. Not only was she a great singer in her own right, but a fantastic musician and song writer.but was every bit as talented
I would have said that Peter Green was the pick of the litter. Out of the later Fleetwood Mac (which I am not all that much of a fan of) Christine McVie was definitely the pick of the litter. Most folks seem to think Stevie was the "pick of the litter".

I was never a big fan of the band, but I watched a documentary of them a couple of years ago and realized I liked a few of their songs a lot.I would argue more talented. Not only was she a great singer in her own right, but a fantastic musician and song writer.
