Anyone have a clue why I have to click on the BCF icon at the top of my screen two times to get the web page? If I only click once I get a list, twice the web page. Tried all my settings but to no prevail? Not critical just annoying. PJ

Basil, on my Windows computer, yes I still have one. I think I fixed the problem, not sure but since I ran an anti virus program it hasn't happened since. It wasn't just on this site, it was on another also, but everything seems back to normal, at the present time!(y) Not saying it couldn't but nothing like this has ever happened on the Linux machines.

Just spent a few days arguing with four Windows machines at a client's place. Two 7- Pro, one Win-10 and a new machine with Win-11. Swapping one 7 box for the new 11 one. His database niche warez are a legacy DOS proggie (pre-Windows!) and Office 2007... the new machine was to be the "server" so getting it all working and data transferred took some time. The office manager had left months earlier and had information germane to the business scattered across the 7's hard drive, her own "logic" as a filing system! In good conscience could only charge him 4.5 hours.

I hate Windows.

When it comes to networking, I agree. It is so much harder to link Windows now than back in the NT days. I can only link with Linux if I deactivate the firewalls.
