We watch the circus on F1.tv live, and as that race ended and Cook was shown with the flag it was: "What's wrong with that guy! 400K people and they picked HIM?!?" I'd bet Brad Pitt was "available" since he's planning a flic on F1. He was in the pits, will take a page from the old James Garner "Grand Prix" movie and follow the circus for footage in next year's events. He'd have been enthusiastic, I'm certain.

Likely a bit confused too - maybe disappointed that he only got given Formula 1 instead of Formula 14 Pro Max as he was promised.

Californians would know what F1 is. Actually, he's from Mobile, Alabama, making him disappointed that it wasn't NASCAR.
