A little over a week ago,I had a bad reaction to one of the antibiotics.
Went to the ER,& then ended up in the hospital for a week.My bodies all
swollen up,due to all the IV's they gave me,& I've put on about 25 lbs.
It's really hard to go from being really active to barely doing things.
Looks like it will be (at least) the end of November before I can go back to
work.I feel like Bill Murray,as every day seems to be the same.
When you're in the hospital, you notice just how much bad TV there
is out there.

Yeah, I can commiserate, hospital TV is the worst tv.

Really sorry to hear, Doug. Maybe catch up on some reading?

Keep turning the negatives into positives. I found that YouTube can help while convalescing; there's so much different and interesting content, And you have control and get to choose the programming.

This is a good idea. What kind of books do you like Doug? I have a few thousand and may just be able to accommodate your tastes.

I've sent him some YouTube and reading ideas too. Staring at the ceiling is to be discouraged!

All the best for a quick and healthy recovery. Yuck. YouTube is way better than daytime soaps! (not that I would know…)

Feel better soon.

Thanks! I'm just getting really tired of being uncomfortable,
& not being able to do regular things.I've only been out of
the house a few times.
With the medications I'm on,the side effects make me
uncomfortable,& my body has swelled up due to retaining
fluids.
