Hello everyone. I own a red 1972 MGB GT, purchased in 2019 just before lockdown. The car is a 'runner' and I use it as often as I can, though as we all know, a 50 year old car needs regular loving care. This one is no exception!! During lockdown I stripped the interior of the car out to get behind panels etc and also fitted an uprated two speed heater. Which turned out to be fortuitious as the most extensive rust/rot was found under this. Generally the car is in quite good condition, though I had an accident with the bonnet which was propped open against the electric garage door. This went up without being asked and bent the bonnet right back. I've sort of straightened it, but a new one will be required at some stage. Over the last 12 months it's had a new oil cooler and feed pipes, electronic ignition kit, prop shaft, rear springs and an ongoing, project is sorting the speedo drive.
Thanks for letting me join the forum!

It was a particularly helpful thread on the MG forum about speedo drives that prompted my application! But thanks for mentioning it Basil.
