Does anyone have a source for parts for the generator for my 1965 Austin-Healey, including the needle bearings?

Bob is correct, however, you may need new brushes and undercutting of the armature. You might want to locate a rebuilder in your area for assistance.

Take it to a shop that rebuilds starters and alternators etc . They should be able to fix it and have all the parts needed .

There aren't any needle bearings in the Lucas generator. There's a sealed ball bearing in the front and a bronze bushing in the rear that needs periodic oiling.

Thank you everybody for your help. I had framed the question incorrectly. I was wondering about a source for a needle bearing conversion for the rear bushing. We have it figured out now so again thanks for all the friendly help.

And that sealed ball bearing can be replaced by drilling out the rivets, matching the bearing and threading/tapping the rivet holes for #10 machine screws for re-assembly.

Likely the Healey generator is physically bigger than the MGB, but we've done quite a few of the bearing replacements on those back-when. Old MGB bearing number is a Delco/New Departure 77502/954293. May have a more recent one, try a crossover number if the genny is the same.
