Grumble grumble.
Coil in my 1957 Morris was leaking oil, altho' the engine started and ran well.
Ordered new coil from RockAuto, same mfr and model as leaking coil. Arrived in 48 hours!
Put in new coil - dead as a doornail, no spark. Put old coil back in, engine started w/o problem.
Tried new coil again - still no joy. No spark.
Grumble grumble.
As another BCF member says - if there's an ignition problem, it's the coil. It's always the coil.
