Hi Everyone. I recently purchased a 1975 Triumph TR6 (originally red from the paint code, now a dark metallic green -- kind of a pre-retirement gift to myself. I have long been a Triumph fan. This is my second TR6, and I owned a 1968 GT6 that I loved too. The 75 is in great shape. Most body panels are new and there was some frame work done when the body was off. New outriggers (of course) but everything seems solid under there. The work was done in 2016, and the car hasn't seen rain/snow since then (apparently). Anyway, I've already found a great deal of information and advice through the search function (still wrestling with the glove box latch - the key won't seem to turn the cylinder), and changing the oil with the infamous canister-style oil filter was fun.
Anyway, the car runs like a champ (79,000 miles on it, so it's old like me!), and I'm really enjoying a good mixture of tinkering and driving.
Thanks for letting me join, and excuse the spots on the car. It was before the first wash!
