The 110 cord did not escape my attention. And the claims of stick/gas/MIG/TIG seem a bit nebulous, BUT(!) I'll not call BS until digging into it a bit further.
 
Very eye-opening reviews, on Amazon and elsewhere. Seems there's a manufacturing quality control issue, among other things.
 
Always been partial to Lincoln, meself.
 
I have an old 200 amp Lincoln, my dad's old 180 amp, Montgomery Ward, and a Craftsman Mig welder. The Craftsman Mig welder has always had a wire feed problem where controlling the wire speed varies at times. It was a gift, so it stays, but looking for something better, just don't want to pay a fortune for something I don't use much. :unsure:

Saw the same one for sale on Craigslist the other day.
I'm guessing the owner was not happy with it but who knows.
 
During my TR4A restoration project, I decided to blow for a good welder. I got Miller "Millermatic" 211, and I absolutely love it. It operates on 220 or 110V AC; I added a 220V line, but it will weld things on 110V that I never imagined would work. Previously I had a simple 135 amp, 110V welder from Northern Tool, the usual Lincoln copy that you get almost everywhere. I got really frustrated with it, but now with the Miller, welding is fun again.
