Car nut wants GT6

good luck with your search!

welcome.

One for sale in Classic Motorsports.

Anyone ever dealt with EZIVO Autos Backyard Consignments? Found a GT6+ they have for sale, but have never heard of this dealer.

Welcome! There was one that was just posted by the Redding British Car Club (Redding,CA).

I grabbed one two months ago. Paid too much, not real bad rust. Rare in the Midwest so jumped on it. Got it home and cleaned the mouse and raccoon stuff out. 53K two owner, sat for 42 yrs. Got to look it over yep engine locked up and soaking. Minor rust along driver's side rockers, rotted tires, but all there except radio. Good luck.

My brother thinks I should do this one - far away but the price is right (especially in Canadian dollars) - big project though!

If you are good at welding & body work. Looks like rockers, partial rear qtr panels?, lower door all rotted as a minimum. Who knows what the frame & floor pans look like. Good luck! I no longer have the desire to take on this big or long of a restoration. I burnt out after doing a 1953 Willys 4 wd wagon. (I prefer mechanical / engine repairs to body work anyway!)

I agree - generally Canadian cars have only the very best tinworm. The frame is redone and likely worth the price of the whole car. Any luck with your search?

No luck yet. Found a few that looked interesting, but got sold quick before I could arrange to go inspect. Plus, a few I highly suspect as scams. Why would a reputable dealer refuse to deal through an escrow company that I would pay for? Anyway, still looking.
