Hey all,

Recently retired and living the dream!...that dream of one day becoming an Austin Healey owner. I've waited a long time for this and as of late February, I became an proud owner of a '65 BJ8 project. Think it sat in a barn for 30+ years and now being restored at a shop in New England. I'll have many questions along the way, so thanks in advance!

Hi Tom,

Well the story goes like this....

The year was 1965 when I was 10 years old. I was off to my little league practice to meet my coach for the first time at the field when he drove up in this amazing little green sports car. Lo and behold, I just had my first look at an Austin Healey 3000. It was love at first sight, creating a lifelong impression and here I am now!

I assume you are a AHCA NE member?

Davie - with me, it was a 1955 Jaguar Mk VII, which I had back in college. Couldn't afford an XK model!
