Hmmm... never seen an electric can.

Can't beat th' combination of water and electricity for that *jolt* in th' morning! o_O

Don't give me crap about the opener
I didn't start it:p
"What's the dirtiest quarter-inch in your kitchen?"

can't drink it. Won't drink it. Occasional decaf at the local diner. Caffeine makes me crazy. Tea is ok. Ditto hot chocolate.

But I'd bet yours has a fancy-dancy electric cord connected to it!
:angel3:
You'd be wrong Tom. It's an old Nordic Ware stove top iron.

Wow, 87 replies in 3 days... some strong opinions on coffee!

Folgers not only has a taste-to-price ratio that keeps the peace in our house, it comes in plastic jugs that have many uses in the garage (soaking bolts in WD-40, catch cans when spraying stuff under the car, trash can in the car -- and the lids are great mixing trays / drip trays too). I have a stack of empties 4' high next to the garage door.
Daily machine is a simple Cuisinart, fanciest feature is a clock so you can set it the night before and wake up to brewed coffee. We're currently on our third of the same model. (BTW, we haven't had to use the "descaling" process since we switched from tap to bottled water several years ago.)

For fancy mornings or lazy weekends, we grind beans from wherever -- we received a subscription to Grounds & Hounds for Xmas one year, a niece-in-law sends us Kauai Blue Mountain for birthdays, and I recently discovered Drive and Texakona which are now my favorites. We grind using a cheapo Mr Coffee grinder which has lasted a couple of decades. If we're feeling REALLY fancy we'll use a French Press.

And if we're just not in the mood and only want the caffeine, we have a Keurig and a supply of Starbucks Via instant capsules.

FWIW, she insists on drinking it black while I invest in Torani syrups and half-and-half. Not many brews can stand up to both.

For anyone who shops Costco and used a Keurig machine, Costco's San Francisco k-cups are a pretty darn good deal relative to other options, plus they containers are biodegradable. We usually have Black Rifle, but occassionally get this Costco brand and really like it.

Cuppa hot joe in me paws just now. Temps headed down...

Blasted space heater only runs for 30 seconds then cuts out. Wasn't needed last year, apparently sitting idle it atrophied.

No such switch. Perineum clear. Had to use a mirror to check. :devilish:
