When I was a kid there was a neighborhood that was know as Humboldt where I grew up. That of course is what led to teenage boys joking about having shirts with the Southern Humboldt Institute of technology abbreviation on them. Oh the things teens find funny...

I officiate a girls soccer game a couple of years ago. One team was from Farmingdale Long Island NY.
Their team jersey proudly displayed:
“FU” (Farmingdale United).
The tournament was not pleased.

At work they want us to Follow Up on issues so by the end of meetings most people have one or more FUs.... almost mis-pronounced it one day - good thing I caught myself before my mouth got ahead of my brain.
