Just arrived! The two-piece pedestal sink for the upstairs bathroom. More than two pieces, unfortunately ...

Details, details. Wait - maybe it's an assemble yourself kit?

Nope - Glacier Bay. Don't know if the problem occurred at packing, or before, or during delivery.

Sorry to see! Hope they cover the replacement (and can get one to you).

How well was it packed and was there any obvious damage on the outside of the box?
I remember when I ordered an under counter Koehler sink for the kitchen (very heavy cast iron), I was paranoid that it would arrive damaged. Luckily it wasn’t. Had similar concerns with Toto toilet.

Definitely packed in corrugated carton only, with cardboard spacers - no popcorn or bubble wrap at all. Probably ok for careful lifting and carrying, but transport by truck/bus etc would cause problems. One of the boxes showed it had been dropped on a corner, so that's good evidence the damage was done in transit.

Anyway, store will pick up the pieces (literally and figuratively) and replace at no cost.

Onward through the fog.

That's good. Did you get it locally (and if so any chance you can pick up the replacement yourself)?

Pick it up myself? That is the plan! Delivery of ceramics like this is dicey at best. Store rep asked if I wanted them to deliver a duplicate of my broken items. No thanks.

Dropped on a corner with the: "THIS SIDE UP" printed on it is my guess. Some "stevedores" can't even read an ARROW.
At least the store is good enough to replace it.

I was on pins-n-needles waiting for the glass folding shower door a couple years ago, fortunately it was factory packed with careless transport in mind.

How do you fold glass?
