Rental Car

I know, but they are everywhere.

My mother enjoyed a 76-ish Peugeot 504, then suffered with a 1982 Peugeot 505. The only surprising thing about their decision to pull out of the US market is that they didn't get kicked out first.

As Click & Clack explained, part of training to be a mechanic is learning how to shrug. But Peugeot mechanics elevated the shrug to an art form, shrugging so hard that their shoulders would actually meet above their heads.

I'll never forget when the head gasket blew when the 505 had just 40,000 miles. The dealer (a family friend) said it lasted that long because they tried re-torqueing the head bolts at the 20,000 mile service. He explained that the head gaskets on that engine "normally" blow at 30,000 miles!

Don't choke at the bill!!!

We have been warned here, they will sign up online and the car might not be there when want to pick it up, then want extra money for what they have.

Zat... iss not my dawg.
Mitsy once encountered a young couple with a toddler they'd put into a harness with a leash on getting out of their car. She approached them and said: "What an adorable child. Does he bite?" The mom's reaction was lacking in humor, to say the least. :ROFLMAO:

When my son was 5 years old we were in a store. My little 5 year old was running around the store "exploring" while I kept a sharp eye on him.
A total stranger said to me "mister, you should watch your child or he could get kidnapped"... I WAS watching him.
I replied to the guy sarcastically: "how do you think we got him?" at which time he flashed his police badge at me.......oooops
