After an online search led me to this forum - can't remember what the topic was but I think it was fuel injection - I spent some time reading lots of threads and decided to join up.
Actually my 'fleet' is too big - sound familiar? - and includes three BMC products: ADO15, ADO17 and ADO61 but I also have several other non-British vehicles which (allegedly) keeps me sane.
Over the course of about four decades I have had a motley collection of British and non-British vehicles and really anything interesting / unusual interests me.
It's a source of great pleasure that with every new year, yet more fascinating information is posted online, from fora to archive to documentation to edutainment (e.g. YouTube channels).
Well, I'm looking forward to enjoying this forum!

Sorry about that! ADO = 'Amalgamated Drawing Office', the design and engineering department of the British Motoring Corporation. It's just a habit to use it to identify the range / basic vehicle instead of the specific name of each of the very many models in that range.
Come to think of it, my motoring journey began with a looooong series of ADO16. Now if I could find another nice one...an 'America' would be nice.

not wanting to distract deconstruction the ADO 34 was a Mini based car that was proposed as a replacement for the Midget/ Sprite

Oh, and, Deconstruction, my mother is from Amersfoort and my father was from Hoogezand-Sappemeer - though they met and were married in Canada.
