The running joke here is that after the first snow of the year you start counting the big trucks stuck in the center berm on the freeway. Folks seem to forget that it snows here. In the mountains. At 6500' elevation. Ah well.
We're happy to have the snow (I like drinking water) but I admit that the night we got back from a trip back east to see my parents for Christmas after a full day of travel and had to park in the street and clear a foot of snow out of my driveway -- that was less fun.
