Yep - welcome to 2022. uh-oh

Happy New Year!

Just hope that 2022 is a far better year, I said that last year too... Sorry I don't have a meme to share

Happy New Year! Our poor Husky is scared to death of the fireworks!

Champagne in the snow (a couple I saw tonight) and -24 Celcius, but dang it! Blew the focus badly! I could have nailed this better if I wasn't with a friend, never bring a friend along when you want to photograph as well :p I rushed this photo too much... But I do know my friend appreciated the time we spent hanging out...

After thirty years we finally adopted a dog that doesn't freak out at fire works.

Just a trace and certainly not white but it is going down to 11 deg tonight here.

just around freezing here today rain/snow mix right now - but, relevantly, 78 days till spring. (each day makes winter one day shorter so, I figure if I can get to the New Year without significant snowfall my winter get much better.) :D

"Chamber of Commerce" weather here for weeks, even set a few record high temps in the mid-eighties. We're supposed to get a one-day winter tonight & tomorrow, temps dropping into the mid 40's °F, then back up again the rest of the week. May need to break out th' socks!

It was 10° this morning when I took the dogs out eith a light dusting of snow. It's the first winter weather we've had this season.

Some guests and employees of the restaurant at the top of Sandia Peak had a memorable New Year! Yikes!! (and it was COLD)

Following up here to the rain/snow mic - it turned to snow all night, but we have no where to go (church is back online) and it is pretty
